Forza Horizon 6 Embraces Italian Exotics With Series 3 Update
Italy takes center stage in Forza Horizon 6's next Festival Playlist. Beginning Thursday, July 16 at 2:30 PM UTC, Playground Games is rolling out Series 3, Italian Exotics, a four-week celebration dedicated to some of the country's most iconic performance machines. As the studio puts it, the update is all about "some of the most breathtaking Italian cars," pairing new reward vehicles with fresh events, collectibles, and the long-awaited arrival of the Italian Passion Car Pack.
The headline addition is three cars making their Horizon debut. Players can earn the 2024 Lamborghini Temerario, the 2022 Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder, and the 1984 De Tomaso Pantera GT5 through the Festival Playlist over the course of the season. As with previous Series updates, each week brings a new opportunity to add another rare Italian machine to the garage.
The Festival's Evolving World is also getting a makeover. The Horizon Stadium has been transformed with an Italian-themed takeover, a fresh set of Italian-inspired EventLab props, and the return of the Aftermarket dealership. The Aftermarket dealership could spawn six rare Wheelspin-exclusive Italian cars: the 1984 Ferrari 288 GTO, the 2012 Ferrari 599XX Evolution, the 2019 Ferrari F8 Tributo, the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, the 2011 Lamborghini Sesto Elemento, and the 1999 Lamborghini Diablo GTR. Players can also collect a Tank Latte Cup collectible while exploring the area, adding another small souvenir to Horizon Japan's growing list of seasonal activities.
Premium Edition owners finally get access to one of the game's most anticipated DLC packs as well. Launching July 14, the Italian Passion Car Pack adds four more new-to-Horizon vehicles: the 2025 Ferrari F80, the 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm, the 1990 Alfa Romeo SE 048SP, and the 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB4 Spider. For everyone else, the pack will also be available as a standalone purchase on the Microsoft Store and Steam.
Car Pass subscribers aren't left out either. Four additional vehicles roll out over the course of the series, starting with the 2003 Aston Martin DB7 GT on July 16. It's followed by the 1972 Nissan Patrol on July 23, the 2024 Toyota Prius Prime XSE Premium on July 30, and the 1972 Honda Z GT on August 6. Between the Festival Playlist rewards and Car Pass additions, Series 3 gives collectors plenty of new Italian machinery to chase.
Playground is also continuing to expand Horizon's seasonal progression. A new Badge joins the growing collection of profile cosmetics, while fresh Festival Playlist events give players another chance to work toward long-term Series History Rewards alongside the regular weekly unlocks.
Series 3 arrives as Forza Horizon 6 continues its steady cadence of monthly content updates. With Italy's finest now taking over Japan's roads—and more expansions still planned later this year—the Horizon Festival doesn't appear to be slowing down anytime soon.
Forza Horizon 6 is available now on Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store, and Xbox Game Pass. A PlayStation 5 release is still planned for later this year. The Italian Exotics Festival Playlist runs from July 16 through August 13.
