Forza Horizon 6 Throws a "Horizon Mascot Party"
Forza Horizon 6 is taking a playful turn with its fourth Festival Playlist series. Starting Thursday, August 13 at 2:30 PM UTC, Horizon Mascot Party brings 10 reward cars to the Festival Playlist, including three making their Horizon debut. The Festival is also getting some new adorable mascots, along with decorations and activities to celebrate them.
The headline additions are the 1970 Honda N600, 2024 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, and 2018 Exomotive Exocet Sport V8 XP-5, and they couldn't be more different. The tiny Honda N600 should make for a fun lightweight build, while the Exocet's Miata-based chassis and 525-hp V8 give it plenty of potential for something much more aggressive. Then there's the Camaro ZL1, which starts with 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque, making it a great choice for anyone looking for a powerful street or track build.
The rest of the Playlist has plenty of older metal worth chasing down. The 1969 Datsun 2000 Roadster and 1974 Toyota Celica GT offer a couple of classic options, while the 1989 Toyota MR2 SC and 1988 Mitsubishi Starion ESI-R bring some much-needed '80s turbo flavor. There's also the 2016 Abarth 695 Biposto for something smaller and the 1968 Dodge Dart HEMI Super Stock for anyone who prefers their cars with a lot more engine.
The Car Pass is getting four more cars over the course of the series, starting with the 1987 Porsche #203 Porsche AG 961, a 632-hp all-wheel-drive racer. The 1957 Ford Thunderbird follows with some classic American style, while the 1968 Alfa Romeo Tipo 33/2 brings legendary racing pedigree to the lineup. Finally, the 1983 Nissan Skyline 2000 Turbo RS rounds things out with some '80s Japanese performance.
There is more to Horizon Mascot Party than new cars, of course. A temporary Edamame Time Attack Circuit is coming to the Evolving World, while new mascot-themed EventLab props let players bring the festival's colorful characters into their own creations. The update also adds American and British Sign Language support for cinematics, along with new Mascot Car Horns and a Fus-Roh-Dah horn inspired by Skyrim's iconic Dragon Shout.
Horizon Mascot Party runs from August 13 through September 10, with four weeks of events and new cars to unlock before British Automotive takes over the Festival Playlist in September.
